How to Use
Cleaning and Care
Before First Use
- Disassemble all components.
- Wash thoroughly with warm, soapy water.
- Boil all silicone components in water for 5 minutes to sterilize.
- Boil the plastic storage frame and case separately for 2–3 minutes.
- Allow all components to cool and dry completely before use.
Cleaning After Each Use
- Disassemble the nipple shield and separate the inner and outer flanges.
- Flush the shield and built-in tubing with warm, soapy water.
- Use the included cleaning brush to gently scrub all shield surfaces, the outer flange, built-in channels, and connector.
- Insert the cleaning brush into the tubing and move it back and forth to clean the inside thoroughly.
- Rinse all components with clean water to remove soap residue.
- Allow everything to dry completely before reassembling or storing.
Sterilization
- Boil all components in water for 2–3 minutes.
- Do not use microwave sterilizers, steam sterilizers, UV sterilizers, or sterilizing tablets, as these may affect the product's lifespan.
Care & Storage
- Only use the included cleaning brush or a soft sponge to clean the product. Hard scourers may scratch the surface.
- Inspect the nipple shield regularly for damage, wear, or weakness.
- Store clean, dry components in the included storage case.
- Keep in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
- Replace immediately if any component shows signs of damage or deterioration.
Helpful Tips
For a Better Fit
- Moisten the underside of the shield with a few drops of breast milk or drinking-quality water before applying.
- Make sure the nipple is centered inside the shield.
- Gently press the shield against your breast to remove trapped air and create a snug fit.
- If the shield feels uncomfortable or pinches, check whether a different size is needed.
For Supplemental Feeding
- Ensure the feeding source is securely attached before beginning.
- Check that both silicone layers are correctly positioned and the built-in milk channels are clear.
- Keep your baby properly latched so supplemental milk can flow toward the nipple.
- Consult your lactation professional for guidance on supplemental milk amounts and feeding techniques.
